Commercial parking structures are a well suited location to feature solar parking structures.  Since Absolute Steel has been supplying parking structures to commercial enterprises for over a decade, it was a natural progression to our core business of parking structures to add the solar energy component to them. Now covered parking can be solar carports. And the best part is that the cost of the parking structures themselves also qualifies under the generous government tax incentives because they are considered to be an integral component to the solar car ports you are installing. Power Purchase Agreements (links to Power Purchase Agreements first page on the Nav Bar)are not going to last forever. When utility companies reach State & Federal mandated levels of a certain portion of their energy from renewable resources, they will be much harder to negotiate with. You really should take advantage of them now. Financing your project through a PPA allows you to have very little or no money invested, no involvement with maintenance of the solar parking system and locks in favorable power rates over an extended period of time—most times up to 20 years!
